Celebrating 18 years as the Hudson Valley’s longest running poetry performance series and free speech advocate.

It’s been fourteen months since CAPS moved from Beacon to Roost Studios & Art Gallery and the energy gathered has allowed CAPS to venture creatively out into the community and beyond. Our connections to SUNY New Paltz have strengthened. Jazzoetry, a vibrant fusion of jazz and poetry is performed periodically throughout the Valley. Our collaboration with Roost Studios, ARToetry: The Ekphrasis Exhibit is on display at Roost Studios ( through September 24.

Live streaming of our events on Facebook and ( has taken Calling All Poets well beyond the Hudson Valley.

50 poets! Open mic! Readings from the Ekphrasis Exhibit and SUNY students!

Refreshments! Pizza from 7-8pm

So bring your voice, bring a friend, or bring a friend with a voice. Calling All Poets welcomes your creativity.
