March 2024 begins the 25th year of CAPS as the longest running poetry performance/reading series in the mid- and northern Hudson Valley. So we’re excited to bring another level of recognition and publishing opportunity to all of our members, as well as non-members who’ve participated in past readings, and have informed the CAPS reading series with a distinguished level of quality and international representation.
We’ve published two anthologies before, Poetry 2015 and CAPS @ 20, but this one is extra special. Now, for the first time, submissions to the next anthology will be judged for First, Second, and Third place winning poems.
The first-place winner will receive $100. The second and third place poets will receive $50 and $25 respectively. The three winning poets will be the CAPS Feature Readers on the first Friday in March 2024 (3/1/24).
In addition, CAPS will host an “Anthology Marathon” on the third Thursday of the same month (3/15/24) in which all anthology poets from anywhere in the world will be invited to read.
All submissions will be considered for the three prizes, as well as inclusion in the 2024 anthology. Submissions will be judged blind by the CAPS editorial board. (Note that board members will be eligible to submit only for the anthology and will not be considered for the contest.)
All poets whose work is accepted will receive one complimentary copy of the anthology. Additional copies will be available through the www.callingallpoets.net, or upon direct request.

Please submit: 1 – 3 poems.

Format: Times Roman 12 pt font. Word (doc or docx), Pages, or PDF ONLY
Your work will be read blind.
Please include your name, address, email, and phone #
